Getting Intellefit with a Low Impact Men's Workout
A couple weeks ago, we introduced you to Christopher Gould, an NASM-certified Master Trainer and the founder of intellefit™, a low impact men's workout program that promotes injury-free exercise techniques. As promised, we wanted to share a few of the intellefit™ exercises that he uses with his clients that you can add to your routine too, whether you're in the gym or in your living room. This exercise is called 'The Climber' and it's a great combination move for strength training and cardio. Check it out below!
The Climber: Start in basic push-up position, with palms on the floor, hands underneath to support your weight and aligned with the shoulders. Do your best to keep your back straight!
Alternate knee raises towards your chest in a rhythmic fashion. This helps to ondition the core, hips and glutes and improves overall cardiovascular conditioning.
This is a solid addition to a high intensity interval workout and focuses on upper body strength and stabilization. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
Stay tuned for more intellefit™ tips coming soon! And keep up with Christopher on Instagram!
