Free Books to boys in need

Did you know 85% of America’s Black male 4th graders are not proficient in reading according to the United States Department of Education?

But, together we can all do something to reverse that statistic. We partnered with Barbershop Books, a community-based program designed to encourage reading within this particular demographic — and inspire them to become avid readers for a lifetime.

During COVID-19 Barbershop Books has distributed 2,000+ books to emergency feeding sites, hosted weekly virtual read alouds, and continues to provide an innovative free eLibrary.

Your $25 donation will gift one household a reading packet. 100% of the proceeds will go to Barbershops Books, a 5013c.
