Last week, we met up with pro groomer Valjean Guerra of Harlem's own Cathedra, a private barbering service in New York City that promises their clients 'the royal treatment'. He took us behind the scenes of the skin fade haircut for a client. As a smooth mix of soulful classics and contemporary hip-hop buzzed through the speakers, he covered everything from how he gets the perfect blend (which he calls the essence of the haircut) to the sharpest line up to put it all together.
