Kamal Nuru burst fade haircut south of France levels barbershop Frederick Benjamin natural curls

We made our way up to Rockland County to see Kamal Nuru, owner of the popular Levels Barbershop franchise in Harlem. His client came in for the 'South of France' otherwise known as the burst fade made popular by music industry icons P. Didn't and Usher. He starts off with Frederick Benjamin Invigorating Shampoo and Conditioner to clear the hair of any dirt and oils and rehydrate the hair to make it easier to manage. He follows with our Daily Hydrator to protect the hair before applying heat, picking out the hair and starting the cut. After a crisp line up and goatee trim, he finishes with natural curls up top using a twists sponge. You can get the look with our Natural Curls Kit here.
