Nature provides solutions that have a wide range of benefits. When we decided to launch Frederick Benjamin, we not only wanted to create products that were effective but also healthy. So we looked to nature to see how we could pass on those benefits to our customers. One of those key ingredients is spearmint oil.
What is spearmint oil?
Spearmint, or mentha spicata, is a type of mint often used in personal care products (toothpaste, mouthwash etc.) It's therapeutic benefits are well noted, including pain relief, treating nausea, indigestion and even cold symptoms. It's been shown to relax muscles, treat insomnia, headaches and other illnesses.
So why is it in our hair care products?
Spearmint essential oil can be used to great effect on your hair and your scalp. Spearmint is naturally anti-fungal and antibacterial nature, making it an effective treatment for certain scalp conditions including dandruff. The cooling menthol also makes it an excellent remedy for itching and dryness.
But the biggest benefit is that spearmint oil can also stimulate the hair follicles and increase blood flow. A healthy scalp is an indicator of healthy hair.
Improved circulation and oxygen distribution is what helps to strengthen hair and help it grow more quickly.
That's why we invite you to feel the difference with Frederick Benjamin! Not only are our products great for your hair but the also improve the overall grooming experience. Spearmint oil's scent is a great way to wake up in the morning and using natural fragrant oils instead of chemical compounds maintains healthy hair and scalp, and doesn't overwhelm you (or those around you).
We've added spearmint oil to our invigorating shampoo, conditioner, and best-selling Daily Hydrator. You can buy them individually or save on our bundle with Regimen I to treat dry hair and itchy scalp.
As I have read the various uses of spearmint oil on hair and scalp, my concern is can the spearmint oil be directly applied to the scalp or whether it has to be diluted with some carrier oil ?
Will It increase the volume of hair also?
Is Spearmint oil good for the making the hair thick also ?
Will it make the hair strong also? Is it to be applied directly to the scalp or mixed with some carrier oil?
